What is happening in Crowd sourcing market? The Indian Context

My father used to work in a Govt organisation and I remember in the late 80s he entered into a slogan contest & bagged a prize. Unknowingly that was perhaps my first encounter with crowdsourcing which I realized now after so many years. In my previous milestone write up I had mentioned some examples of crowd sourcing in Indian context, I did also mentioned about Prof Karim lakhani's concept call Cognitive Surplus, how the rupee symbol was formed.

In this Milestone too I want to focus on India and analyse crowd sourcing in the present state. Since I live in Indian, I do understand the problems & issues about our culture, Culture dictates Human behavior and it does forms the mental model which further drives our decisions

My approach towards need finding is generic and not specific to system, I am trying to find out the problems on a macro level, these macro problems can further be broken down into pieces to understand micro problems for a specific user group. Its a top down approach where I am trying to analyze the bigger issue and drill to the macro level, however the actors are different in each scenarios but, in a software industry we have Client who give tasks to perform, in a crowdsourcing space it the requester.

Each age groups have different set of needs and as human mature & become old his need changes are influenced by Socio economic factors, cultural factors

In order to anyalse the need for a worker at different stages of life I have broken down my research into different age group, as human beings become mature our need changes, further these needs are dependent on environmental & cultural factors.
