  • How do I identify a genuine worker/requester on the forum?

Develop a rating system which keeps track of the history of the worker/requester. A detailed implementation can be read under Trust Idea 1.

  • How do I ensure payment after delivery of work?

Before HITs can be posted, the requester must pre-pay the system the exact amount the HITs are worth. This money will belong to neither the requester nor the worker, until the work is finished or cancelled.

  • How do I get in touch with the user to understand needs/demands?

Develop an internal messaging system which brings the requesters closer to the workers.

  • How do I stop myself from taking the wrong approach towards a job?

A checkpoint system will ensure that you work your way through the HITs in step, so that you do not submit a large amount of incorrectly worked results, and the requester can correct you in between checkpoints. A detailed implementation can be read under Trust Idea 2.

  • How do I understand what kind of work needs to be performed?

An interactive detailed example accompanying a job should be mandatory, which will guide the workers to know exactly what is expected from them.

  • How do I know which kind of job is right for me?

A skillset matching functionality should be included inside the platform. This will reduce the time a worker wastes in searching for the right kind of job.

  • How do I ensure appropriate compensation?

A fair wage mechanism, which not only learns from the history of the wages of the jobs posted on the platform, but also considers the wages in alternative crowdsourcing platform, will ensure that requesters are providing at least the least accepted wage for a job.

  • What kind of backup do I have in case of disagreement?

A support team, a third party panel, will handle all kinds of disagreements. More details can be found under Power Idea 2.

  • How do I trust the workers credentials?

As implemented on many freelancing websites, such as oDesk, our platform could provide cheap paid certifications where the worker needs to perform certain set of tasks under a given time, so that they can be certified to solve similar tasks.

  • What kind of backup do I have in case of disagreement?

The support team can be contacted in case of disagreement on the rejection of a job. Read Power Idea 2 for more information.

  • How do I maintain quality of job?

In case your job is quality critical, you may set filters on the skillset so that unqualified workers cannot work on your job at all.

  • How do I ensure payment?

Before HITs can be posted, the requester must pre-pay the system the exact amount the HITs are worth. This money will belong to neither the requester nor the worker, until the work is finished or cancelled.

  • How do I ensure appropriate compensation?

A fair wage mechanism, which not only learns from the history of the wages of the jobs posted on the platform, but also considers the wages in alternative crowdsourcing platform, will ensure that requesters are providing at least the least accepted wage for a job.
