Experience the life of a Worker on Mechanical Turk

Since I reside in India, MTurk could not be accessed by me. As a result I had to signup on another site, Microworkers. My experience on this site as a worker was quite bad as there were many tasks for which I did not qualify. This made earning money harder as I could not signup for these tasks. The tasks that i could complete were few and not really challenging as well as had a very low payment when compared to the other tasks. On a few tasks, on completion the requester would simply state that the task was not done perfectly even though I had done it well

What i liked about the system: Easy to get tasks that require little or no effort as such.

What i disliked about the system: Too many complicated requirements needed to do higher regarding tasks. No authority to ensure payment is given to the worker.

Experience the life of a Requester on Mechanical Turk

As I said earlier, I did not get registered on the MTurk site and so, made use of the sandbox site. Its not easy to get people to do your tasks and had to post in several groups to find people to complete these tasks.
