Boomerang reputation system depends on feedback from requesters to allow them to connect to work. However, there may be instances where workers crave for a variety in the kind of work that one particular requester may not be able to provide, similarly, a regular requester might want a certain fresh perspective on the content depending on the nature of the task. This is not addressed by boomerang.

Solution If a worker has done an awesome job, requesters can include a testimonial for the specific task in addition to giving them a rating. This allows the requester to give a more descriptive detail of the work ethic, the quality of work and helps build the worker’s reputation in a positive manner. In addition both workers and requesters can build trust in new requesters and workers who are able to better judge if a person is suitable for the job. In the beginning new workers and requesters are usually not assessed hence the workers can be given tasks that are not highly skill based, but they can build up their reputation slowly.

Similarly, a worker can also write testimonials for the requester they feel are a cut above the rest thereby helping build the requester’s reputation. For a new requester, they can still post work which will be accepted by new and seasoned workers. In order to prevent fake testimonials, each person can be restricted in the number of testimonials and also may be asked follow up questions.

The more feedback- communication that the requesters and workers engage in, they can earn badges that will boost their confidence and build up their reputation.

For New Based on these factors, an algorithm can then match workers to tasks most likely to fall in the area of their interest and expertise.
